You should inform your customers of all sales and specials that the dealership has going on for services, not just offer the highest costing oil change or tire rotation or any other thing. There is no reason you can't combine an oil change and tire rotation because you're dealership is making alot of money and don't need to do such Nickle and dimineing tactics go back to friendly service

When service advisor Richard Trevino inspected my pickup truck for an oil change, he noticed uneven wear on the front tires and recommended an alignment. I approved the service, trusting in the advisor's professionalism. When the service was completed, I received a text message stating that my pickup was ready. No one was there to interact with me and explain the multi-inspection report. When it was time to pay the bill, I asked the cashier where the alignment report was, and he told me it was in the documents he would provide me, but that wasn't true. Trevino wasn't available to answer my questions, and most importantly, there was no electronic file of the original or corrected alignment report. This makes me doubt whether the problem was actually fixed.

I setup an appointment about two weeks in advance. When arrived the tires were not at the service center and had to wait 5 hrs for the tires to arrive. The service rep notified me that the tires were not their due because the tires were not paid for yet. I had ordered these tires online and the option to pay was not given at the time the appointment was scheduled. At checkout the buy 3 tires get 1 for a dollar promotion was not applied, so I had to go back to the service center to get the promotion applied. Which was not almost given. Now one of the Tires has a slow leak and I tried to get it serviced and was told that I can come in but there is no time frame of where the tire will be repaired. I understand the service center is busy but I just bought four new tires and it has not even been a week and I am having issues. The worst part is that I can not even get a priority time slot because the installation was not done properly in the first place.

At first I was cool but after truck was finished the fuel filter alert wasn’t reset so had to go ask about it. Then I notice my oil change alert was back to 100%. So I think they reset the wrong filter. I called and left message and a text and haven’t received a response if them resetting my oil filter was an issue. I expected a response.

I went for an oil change and possibly the air filter as it was at 55%. I drove up to the service center. Waited in line maybe 10 minutes. Got checked in, I asked about my air filter, because like u mentioned it was showing 55%. The gentleman said they would check it. A couple hours later my car was ready. Nothing was notated about my filter, I guess I’ll just have to go back and get that changed out when it’s time.

I have bought 4 vehicles from Vara Chevrolet. My latest vehicle is a 2018 Equinox which I have had it serviced there since I purchased it. I was very disappointed in the customer service I received on Monday and Tuesday of this week. I left a detailed explanation of the treatment I received on a previous survey I completed early this morning. I took the opportunity to speak to David Vara upon seeing him pass. I proceeded to explain to him my concerns but he was not interested in what i had to say. He gave me a few answers that did not align with my concerns. I told him,"I'm sorry, but i am not happy with your response." He said, "well, the service department will be working on your vehicle as soon as the get to it. They will let you know when it's ready." This is unexceptable customer service from an important representative of the dealership.

Of course, all smiles and fake interest initially, then unnecessary military appreciation application online. Then the ridiculous $1,400 monthly payment. They wouldn't give me my keys back. Then Kong approach with a slightly reasonable quote of $1K, which is still elevated but the storm was getting worse. Still wouldn't give me my keys. There's one other possible customer there however you finance manager couldn't move slower. As if my time is irrelevant. I finally leave in a dirty 2025 Tahoe. My payoff for the 2021 Tahoe was $29,583.30 plus tax. Payoff check still NOT sent to GM Financial however the certified 2021 Tahoe is currently on your website for $49,900. The negative impact on my credit report means nothing as Vara Accounting drag their feet in completing their part. Kong, Jeanette, and anyone who should care to return my many calls simply will not. Vara Salesmen continue to call to find out if Im still in the market for a vehicle...Update your records since you're NOT taking care of your customers. This is my 2nd Tahoe Ive leased from Vara and by far this experience is horrible and all levels of disrespectful.

Service people should never tell the lie, 'the foreman is looking at your vehicle.' The reason service people should never tell this lie is because other service people will tell the truth, which is that no one had looked at my vehicle. Instead of lying, just admit up front you do not have time to get to my vehicle, so I can take it somewhere else. Further, do not text photos to my phone number, because this unnecessarily wastes data for no reason. Further, do not send links to my phone number for me to leave a review, which require a Google account to access. Newsflash: Not everybody has, or wants to have, a Google account.

Typical wait time for an oil change. My expectation for good customer service has faded over the past few years due to the modern work force ideology, and all the political rhetoric and political correctness. What happened to the "strong work ethic", that I learned growing up in the 70's and 80's. Every job that I was blessed with, was appreciated just for working and having a job and always gave it my all, "100 percent real work ethic". Even with terrible bosses and crapping work conditions I never wavered from giving it my all because that is what you did to earn your paycheck. What I see now in all industries, is just lackadaisical employees without a sense of purpose or motivation to take care of customers. Was a mechanic for thirty plus years and served my customers directly or indirectly with a motivation that was driven by my end result to serve my customers from a job well done mentality. Work ethics is rarely seen today in the world of a technology driven society. So, simply stated my experience was just typical nothing stuck out or grabbed my attention to say anything other than just typical of today's society. Hopefully, this is just informative and not critical but honest at best!

5 stars go yo Joe Lopez service writer, he has excellent customer care qualities! I am going back because of him. Also I will be sending my other High Country diesel pickup for PM to Joe! At the parts counter a parts man named Mark is the opposite of Joe. Mark was BS"s with the parts lady and when I inquired about a part he kept picking his ear which didn't bother me as much as his extreme rudeness when he said to me I didn't know what I was talking about when I asked a question about key FOB. I was raised up trained that the customer is always right and if he's not explain to him and make him think he was. After all without the customer the best service on earth will have nothing to service.

I am very curious as to why we have to give the pilar coupon prior to service, I did do this but was reading a sign, what does this really mean? Does it mean cheaper service? Under rated oil? As a consumer and how we think in today's fast world, what is the difference if it gets given before or after, it still needs to be serviced, just food for thought. Also, took over an hour and a half for an oil change? I have been to other dealerships before with Chevrolet and this was not the case in those.

My salesman was great but I do have a problem with his manager. I told my salesman that I wanted to use my bank. His manager said he would check with my bank and others to find me the lowest interest rate. So I was told they found the lowest rate and it was not my bank so under the assumption that they contacted my bank.i later found out my bank was not contacted. This is deceptive and misleading in my opinion and will be refinancing with my bank immediately

Less than half an hour after walking into the dealership I was on the way to the bank to get a cashier’s check to pay for the truck. All the paperwork was done quickly, and picking up the truck (which I chose to do a different day to get the insurance sorted) took minutes. Everyone was very polite and did a great job. The next time I purchase a vehicle, Vara will be the first dealer I check. I also want to point out, that on top of Johnny Sanchez and Gabriel Gonzales, who did an amazing job helping me the day I bought the truck, Vanessa Pineda also did an outstanding job when I spoke to her on the phone a few weeks before I actually visited Vara. The phone call I had with her was the main reason I went to Vara that day.

This has been my second time getting my vehicle serviced by Vara Chevrolet and both experiences have been the same. No one comes out to speak to me about the services that were performed on my vehicle or recommend any additional services that might be needed. The oil change sticker wasn’t removed and updated. I hope that everything was thoroughly checked and topped off in my vehicle. I also hope that my tires were rotated since I did pay for that additional service.
